Seriously, 14 kids?
Two thoughts come to mind. First, she's batshit crazy. I love kids too, but I was a single parent of one, and it was hard. She's a single parent of FOURTEEN now, and living on welfare and making California pay for her choice to have lots and lots of kids because she just loves them soooooooooooooooooooooo much.
The vagina is NOT a clown car.
Second, the doctor who helped this happen needs to have his license revoked. He should not have done it the 2nd time she came to him, still jobless, still living with her parents, still a whackjob, and wanted more kids. He did not do this for any reason other than the notoriety.
And yes, I think the State should step in and take those kids away from her. She has no business with eight babies. Hell she has no business with the other six she has at home either. Did you see the pictures taken of where those kids are being raised??? It's ridiculous. Filthy, cramped, and not inhabitable.
And last but not least....someone should tell that woman that Angelina Jolie called and wants her lips back.

PS...I am almost done with tax stuff and will get back to reading everyone's blogs and commenting hopefully by the end of the week! I see light at the end of the tunnel!!!!

She is absolutely bat shit crazy! I calculated roughly that her daycare would amount to $1750 a week or $91,000 a year!
The entire thing makes me really angry and, I think, gives the entire industry of assisted reproduction a bad name. Most doctors would NEVER transfer (not implant, as the media keeps writing...if you could actually implant embryos, the success rate of IVF would be well over 95%!!!) enough embryos produce 8 babies, especially into a woman who has had FIVE successful pregnancies at all.
I can't even begin to judge the woman who thinks it's a good idea to raise all these children (even if we're just talking 7 b/c this pregnancy *could* have only resulted in one live birth) in the conditions they're being raised in. I just get stuck at the whole issue of this doctor and his horribly irresponsible decision to transfer all of these embryos.
Ugh.
Oh my. I try not to talk about this because my blood boils. She is living in such an unrealistic world of "I can do it and therefore I should. Oh yeah, even if I can't PAY FOR IT." And I want to know who paid for those lips and that nose. Another welfare check or is that what she used her student loans on when she didn't finish some of her education as planned.
As another bat shit crazy mom of fourteen, currently kickin' it alone because Brandon is in Nigeria working for another 9 days. All I can say to her is, "good luck sweetie."

I find the whole situation completely incomprensible. Completely. I agree with you 100%about the doctor. And while I hate the idea of any children going into the 'system', as the system is overloaded and understaffed and underfunded, etc, it makes me FURIOUS to think that this woman will be living on assistance. It's not like she's just going through a rough patch and needs help... she did this ON PURPOSE. When she already had SIX children!! I have one child and she costs me a fortune, even with a healthy child support check every month. But I struggle some months. That everyone else has to pay for this situation, these babies, when, AGAIN, she had them ON PURPOSE, knowing full well she can't afford them, just pisses me off.
I think she's fucking nuts! And she pisses me off. I can't even have one baby and this bitch has a fucking football team of kids.
I really like dogs but you don't see me with a houseful like on Animal Cops. I'm not the crazy dog lady. Just plain crazy, maybe.
They just found a lady living in her car with 21 papillion dogs here in dallas. SPCA took custody of the dogs and APS took her for a psyche eval. We will take care of animals before humans everytime. I say we keep screaming about it. I personally think that MD should pay for the kids.

Crazy!! I think that she needs a psych eval to make sure that she CAN take care of them. Anyone who thinks having that many kids (so close together) has to be NUTS!!!

julie...I find the story terribly sad, because the simple fact is we are speaking of real children! As far as I am concerned the sperm donor needs to be paying some child support and perhaps the sperm transferer (aka doc, but really a quack) should be paying to care for these children as well. It is not my responsibility (as a taxpayer) or the citizens of California, to help this woman live her dream... I love children also! I put the brakes on at 4, since that is all I could afford. My dream was to have my own baseball team (9 kids) but then after the first one was born, reality hit.

Oh my! I have friends who would give the world to just have one precious child. I don't think we have any right to tell a women how many babies she can have, BUT when she is planning on getting by on Faith...when she has no plan on how she we support those babies!! God bless those kids. They are going to need all the help they can get.

This woman makes me so angry. I, who work...and hard....am paying for her to have 14 children....that is so not fair. I agree the state should step in and take them....that would give 14 couples who could not have children a shot at a child....and it would take her off the burden of the state welfare system. And the Doctor???? He needs to be horsewhipped.
I agree with your other groupies. I have concerns about the psychological well being of all of the children if they're left with her. She reportedly already has one child with autism and another with attention issues. Children with special needs have so many more challenges...can you imagine if all 8 of the newborns have developmental issues too?
Yep she has some deep rooted psychological problems. She is an only child. She has gone out of her way to have as many children as she can yet her parents provide for them all and she has had surgery to try an look like Angelina Jolie. The doctor needs to be struck off and the kids should be taken away from her. Listen to her Mom she is saying her daughter is nuts so if her own mother is saying that then she clearly needs to be locked up. And it would be remiss of authorities not to intervene and see that those babies went to a family that could provide for them. In every way. In fact it makes me sick.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said!! And we live in CA and it just angers me that our tax dollars are going to support her children, when we are struggling to support our own in this horrible economy!! Not that I want her kids to suffer for their mother's mistake or anything. I just cannot believe how stupid she is!!!
You took the words right out of my mouth..if she really loved those kids soooooooo much....she would put them up for adoption where they would have loving families, and a chance at a good life....it is really sad.

I was a single mom at one time,(he walked out on us)and I used some services such as social security for my disabled son (which prevented me from working full time) and food stamps the first year I was alone with two kids. But the second I didn't need a service anymore, I dropped it. Now, I am only using medicaid on my disabled son, and that is his secondary, not his primary.
The system is there to help you when you are having a rough spell that is beyond your control. It helps you get back up on your feet by buying you time to figure something out, not to sit on your ass and reproduce like a rabbit. Hell, even a rabbit has more common sense than that! It is not there for you to leach off of and just go around doing crazy bitch shit like she has.
I also had my tubes tied right on the operating table minutes after the second delivery and they told me I had a healthy almost 10 pound gorilla baby boy. Yup, ain't doing that again. Pull those plugs please!
This woman is so very selfish. There are so many women out there who struggle to have one child let alone take advantage of the fact that they can have multiples just because. And to think that we continue to pay for them...disgusting.

I am sort of media . . . oblivious, so the first I heard of this was on an interview with her. And she said she did not know what the big deal was, she paid for all of this. No taxpayer assistance. Well, she may have paid the wack-job of a doctor to implant, but the state of California is going to pay millions for the first month of these babies lives.
Her newly plumped Angeline Jolie lips nearly match her belly bulge. She is definitely mental and is using her "litter" as a means to an end. But when her 15 minutes are over, she'll be stuck with her publicity stunt all her life. Poor kids.
Not only should the doctor be arrested...but they should take the kids away and have that woman spayed AND neutered!!!!
