It's also a leased vehicle and the lease is up January 17th.
Oh, and I just found out two weeks ago that I am already over my miles.
Anyway, I've been shopping for a car for a couple of weeks now, and finally found it yesterday.
So I bought myself a new car for my son's birthday.

(Clearly I have a thing for silver cars!)
My young trendy Nestie girls would call this a "push present", albeit 19 years late. LOL
I'm very happy with it. It has all the same bells and whistles that my 300 has except navigation and the Hemi engine. The nav came in handy during times when I'm showing houses but hell, I can buy a Garmin. And the Hemi was nice when idiots on the road in front of me were driving too slow and I wanted to zoom around them, but otherwise all it did was cause me to slide all over the freaking road in the snow and give me a whopping 15 miles to the gallon.
But the best part is that the car payment is half what the 300 was, and that makes me really, really happy.
Oh and it has a feature the other car didn't....a cool iPod interface in the nifty Bose stereo so I can listen to music on my iPhone when I'm driving!!! Yay! (This would be my son's favorite feature on the car, as you can imagine.)
So I'm all kinds of happy with my new car! And my 300 is parked in my back garage for the next month until I can turn it in on January 17th. Yay!

Good present. I get to drive a "company" car home now....but prefer the V-twin when the weather gets warmer.

And I have a thing for silver too. My first vehicle I bought was a Chevy pick-up truck(go figure huh) which hubby now drives and we bought a Camry a few years ago and I picked silver again. They just look sportier.
Every mom should get a gift on her child's/children's birthday(s)! Hell, we did all the work to get them here - it should be OUR day!
Nice car..I have no idea what a hemi is but I am guessing it has something to do with making the engine go fast (sorry I am such a girl)!!
I like black cars but they get so damn hot in the summer time. It seems that I always buy my cars when it is cold outside and I forget until summer rolls around and then I am like "damn it"
Currently I drve a 2002 Jeep Liberty. I have to say those Jeeps last FOREVER if you treat them right. I am hoping for a Ford Explorer next...Eric thinks it is too big...I love it. Alas, his car has two or three more years of payments left so I will wait...besides my car is paid for and I don't want two car payments if possible..I might have to curb my other spending. I don't think I like the sound of that!!

Any sign of the necklace and earrings yet? My hubby thought he was doing me a favor and mailed it out but sent it surface instead of air. Sorry about that, this time of year that will certainly delay its delivery.
