Ewwwww! This is where I go running from the room shrieking "Kill it, kill it, KILL IT!" Except that the last time I had my husband whack one that size in the house.....the abdomen split open and about a million baby spiders came crawling out. So on second thought....take it far, far away!
Ack. I hate spiders. At least it's outside. We have one living with us outside. It's huge and crunchy looking. I think it's poisonous. Mainly because it's huge and crunchy looking. We let it stay though, because it is so amazing to watch it build a web every night and take it down each morning. We check on it every night. Now that it's cooler out, we don't see it. I think it's dead. I hope it's dead. Kind of.

I think I would simply faint if I saw this outside my front door.
That spider is huge! I am glad he is outside the house.
Leave the spider there. As big as it looks, it can eat the Jehovah Witnesses when they come to the door.
Dear lord!! see you had the brains to photograph it, I would have walked right into that web... seriously!
