Pick a color....any color....

Getting my hair colored after work and getting rid of this blonde crap. Yay! Thinking about being a redhead again. After all that was my "natural" hair color for 25 years. And I was good at it. It suited my personality!

But then again I've been just about every color...

Really dark (she took my "coffee color" seriously):

Ugly boring brown:

Reddish brown:

Redder:

My Cruella DeVille look:

Just an odd color:

Carrot Top:

Sweet Jesus, am I blonde or brunette? Put the same color on both sides of my head, lady!

Worst Blonde Ever:

Who I want to be when I grow up:

What do you think? Pick a color...any color....I've been 'em all!

You have a beautiful face with the high cheek bones and great eye color. How about like a darker strawberry blonde? Not really blonde and not really red! My hair is white now a left over from chemo, but I was a lite-med auburn all my life via living better with chemistry!!

I like the light highlights. And the reddish brown. I too have had almost every haircolor. Right now I'm sporting my regular boring brown with light brown highlights. I think I might stick with it since my blonde highlights used to show roots by 3 weeks. Damn my fast growing hair!!

Being a natural redhead myself I am voting for the red - not brassy red - I have a reddish brown base with blonde highlights. Have a great holiday weekend!

From one redhead....I think red rocks. Not the really dark one...I liked the lighter....between dark and carrot top. That would be me....or was...before I decided to go natural and white. :-)

I didn't even get to the color choices and I was already thinking red! Of all the photos I loved your reddish brown look best.
BTW, have I told you are so hard on yourself - I really thought you looked great in many other shades that you did not like.

Your post was just what I needed! Tomorrow, I'm going to ask my hairdresser to "put it back the way it was." I started going darker, a shade at a time and now have gone too far. Last time, I asked her to back up and put a little red in -- it's still too dark. My only option is to go back to the original golden strawberry blond, which seems to fade fairly quickly. The upside is that the roots don't show like they do with the darker shades. I'm also going to have it cut short short again -- it's driving me crazy! I think I just want an entirely new head (I'll take the one you posted!) Annie

Like Judy, I'm a redhead (but NOT natural!), so I like the darker red shades. I actually LOVE that you've been all these different shades! How cool that you change it up every once in a while!

Make sure you post the picture of what you end up with! Can't wait to see!

You know what? I loved the "boring brown" one the best! It looks natural and really pretty on you.

I am sure you will come up with just the right choice. I tend to like you with the reddish look.

I'm thinking you should try something different.. spice it up a bit! Deep Burgondy! or Aurburn!

Being 48 I can totally laugh with you! Perhaps a darkish red with a few highlights? My hair actually had to be colored by myself(cuz I'm poor at the moment)and they covered grey is providing the highlights. It's halfway down my back as well as I cannot afford a good haircut. Silly me.

Wow--lots of different colors. I remember the last time I dyed my hair--I did a strawberry blonde, but since I did it out of a box, I dried out and damaged my hair terribly. I think it took two years to actually grow the damage out. Ugh.

I wish you luck with your next choice--I think you looked great in all of these.

Wow I really like the red. Maybe add some reddish highlights? Your blog is excellent.
